Weekend Show Notes for January 19, 20 and 21

Posted Jan 18, 2017 in Announcements, Cast Lists, Shows

Here’s what is happening this weekend:

→ British Baking Challenge Thursday Jan 19 and Friday Jan 20 at 8:00PM  – Inspired by PBS’ The Great British Baking Show, this improvised baking competition challenges its actors to develop contestants based on suggestions from the audience while also navigating a fleet of ovens, mixers, and cooking utensils to produce a batch of baked treats to be evaluated by the judges.

Improv Month  – This January, we’re happy to be working alongside the The Pocket Theater and CSz Seattle for the 3rd annual Seattle Improv Month. The month-long event features special performances by independent improv groups (with some familiar faces) mixed in to our regular programming.

January 21, 10:30PM; NASTY – NASTY is an ensemble of over twenty female-identifying improvisers from around the Seattle area speaking out about the political and social issues that matter to them. Each performance has a different cast, with earnings going to one of many nonprofit organizations that actively support and empower women: for the month of January, proceeds will be donated to RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network).

Jet City Improv  –  Seattle’s favorite high-energy short form comedy show takes the stage every Friday and Saturday!!!
