Twisted Flicks: Hand of Death!
Twisted Flicks is a monthly comedy show that makes HORRIBLE movies HILARIOUS. Seattle’s funniest improvisers play a bad movie on the big screen, mute the sound and then use your suggestions to make up brand new music, dialogue and sound effects on the spot. It’s sort of like watching someone clean a house that’s on fire.
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, August 24-26th at 8 pm, Twisted Flicks’ improvisers will make you laugh at a sloppy scientist turned killer creature in our air-conditioned movie theater. You’ll watch the monstrous 1962 movie Hand of Death (4.4/10 rating on IMDb). “Alex Marsh, a research chemist, has just created a serum combining hypnotic drug and nerve gas. Unfortunately, he uses himself as a guinea pig, and the drug transforms him into a murderous monster.”
Surprisingly, this movie was directed by Gene Nelson, who would go on to direct Star Trek, The Andy Griffith Show and Starsky and Hutch. Unsurprisingly, Hand of Death was not as well-received. “I don’t understand how this ever got released by a studio.” – IMDb Reviewer
Our bar (cider, beer, liquor and wine) and concessions stand (candy, popcorn, soda and La Croix) will be open throughout the movie! So grab a snack, kick back and laugh at Twisted Flicks!
