Twisted Flicks: The Abominable Snowman!
Twisted Flicks is a monthly comedy show that makes HORRIBLE movies HILARIOUS. Seattle’s funniest improvisers play a bad movie on the big screen, mute the sound and then use your suggestions to make up brand new music, dialogue and sound effects on the spot. It’s sort of like watching someone hang-glide in a hurricane.
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, December 28-30th at 8 pm, celebrate the holidays with Twisted Flicks’ improvisers as they make you laugh at a sneaky snowman in our temperature-controlled movie theater. You’ll watch the monstrous 1957 movie The Abominable Snowman (6.5/10 rating on IMDb). “A kindly English botanist and a gruff American scientist lead an expedition to the Himalayas in search of the legendary Yeti.”
This movie stars Peter Cushing. In life, he would go on to play Grand Moff Tarkin in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, and in death, he would go on to reprise his role in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Unsurprisingly, The Abominable Snowman wasn’t as popular. “An enjoyable low-budget himalayan cryptozoology adventure.” – IMDb Reviewer
Our bar (cider, beer, liquor and wine) and concessions stand (candy, popcorn, soda and La Croix) will be open throughout the movie! So grab a snack, kick back and laugh at Twisted Flicks!
