Twisted Flicks: The Green Slime!
Twisted Flicks is a monthly comedy show that makes HORRIBLE movies HILARIOUS. Seattle’s funniest improvisers play a bad movie on the big screen, mute the sound and then use your suggestions to make up brand new music, dialogue and sound effects on the spot. It’s sort of like watching someone drive a car without a steering wheel.
On Saturday, May 26th at 8 pm, Twisted Flicks’ improvisers will make you laugh at sentient slime in our air-conditioned movie theater. You’ll watch the monstrous 1968 movie The Green Slime (4.5/10 rating on IMDb and 22% rating on Rotten Tomatoes). “Astronauts unknowingly bringing back a gooey green substance that mutates into one-eyed tentacled monsters that feed off electricity.”
Funnily enough, this movie’s “terrifying” monsters were played by children in bulky rubber suits. Similarly, The Green Slime is largely underwhelming. “Oh dear…” – IMDb Reviewer
Our bar (cider, beer, liquor and wine) and concessions stand (candy, popcorn, soda and La Croix) will be open throughout the movie! So grab a snack, kick back and laugh at Twisted Flicks!
