Half Sister
Half Sister does 15 Scenes in 15 Minutes!

Can Half Sister do 15 scenes in as many minutes? There’s only one way to find out!

Mean Streak
Mean Streak is a group of gal and guy misfits that play hard and fast based on the audience’s suggestion. We follow the fun of the scene and do our darnedest to make sure everyone in the room is having a good time.

Cloud Cover
Two angels discuss the life on earth, life after death and why are these wings so itchy.

Two
Two, and a Half Man

3 recent college graduates use their degrees to impress their parents.

Rock Bottom
Rock Bottom

Started from the bottom now we’re here, back for our third year of JCI Guest Fest! Rock Bottom is a long-form improv troupe featuring diverse comedy veterans from around the world (quite literally!) with tenures at more theaters than we can list. Returning from our festival romp in New York City, Rock Bottom could not be more thrilled to bring its unique flavor of high energy comedy from our famed incubator (re: living rooms) to you.

Family Happiness
You will feel all emotions at least once. This show is an exploration of emotional consequences. What happens when we make choices based on selfish desires? This show will explore the interconnectedness of unrelated people living in the same imaginary house. Our lives are connected in some way or another. We will be finding meaning in the mundane.

Pants
Pants

Pants is the slow jam of improv. Natasha and Luke take their time with honest, sincere onstage moments that often include silence.

Yeah Okay
Yeah Okay

Blending stand-up, storytelling, and improv comedy, Yeah Okay delivers a hilarious show that defies expectations–even our own! Join us as we disassemble every detail in a unique improv show that begs the question: have they gone too far or just far enough?

Your Mom’s Pinterest
Laura Turner and MJ Jurgensen celebrate everything your mom likes.

dadada
dadada

We see things in dreams that we would never have imagined. We do things in dreams that we never would have done. We understand things in dreams that, upon waking, make no sense at all.

East Side Story
East Side Story

East Side story starts with one word from you and blows it up into a full-on, multi-scene show, exploring events and relationships ranging from the real to the surreal.

This Space Intentionally Left Blank

This Space Intentionally Left Blank started with a simple idea: what if we cast an improv show, then let the performers decide what kind of show it’s going to be? Well as it turns out, these performers have some stories to tell from a dark, silly world, very much like our own. Stories about people living in absurdity. Stories from beyond our shared facade of normality. The stories we deserve, and the stories we need right now. It’s a little bit Python, a little bit Sartre; a little bit Twilight Zone, and a little bit Looney Tunes. Not sure what that looks like? Come see for yourself.

Stock Image
Stock Image explores issues surrounding race, class, and gender through an open dialogue with the audience followed by a series of open scenes.

#relationshiptolls
#relationshiptolls

This duo charts the course of love from infatuation to the far reaches of deep intimacy and everything in between. This real life couple will show you the moments of romance and relationship that are drawn from the audience’s dreams, fears and fond memories.

Eye Contact
Michael Draper and Anthony Householder explore the glorious awkwardness of eye contact, and how it can change a relationship forever.

Book Club
Book Club

Somewhere in the Nice part of town on a regular night, after their Barre classes and upscale juice crawls, a group of uppity mid-thirties adults gather for their once a month Book Club meeting. Tonight, though, only two women bothered to show up. With no self-awareness, an entire bottle of wine, and an absolute lack of critical literary skills, these two must forge onward and hold their book club meeting anyway. Book Club is about learning how deeply shallow people are still people too. It is a wine-fueled, crossfit-subscribing, locally-sourced yogurt-eating peek into the lives of the people you normally avoid when you go to Whole Foods. Alison and Amalia have been performing together for ten years, and are thrilled to continue to trick audiences into caring about people they would normally hate.

Fact-Spiracy: True Stories of Truth
With our combined knowledge, we verify your fears and theories that tie in the global and interplanetary conspiracy through truth and facts and reenactments.

Death and Taxes
Death and Taxes

Fun and weird improv wrapped up with an existential bow.

Powdered Cat
We start with a suggested location and then create one scene with multiple characters within that location. No wipes! No tag-outs! No cut-to’s! All comedy!

Playlist
You pick the songs, we’ll do the rest. Playlist is a highly physical and fun duo performing scenes with minimal dialog to a soundtrack chosen at random from songs submitted by the audience. Featuring Natasha Ransom and Douglas Willott

Talking Heads
It’s fabulous!

White Bagel
White Bagel

Andy White and Haley Bagel are a delightfully dysfunctional duo. Building relationships and stories right on the spot from a random audience suggestion.

Godot The Untold Story
Godot The Untold Story

Starring Ian Schempp & John Boyle; Godot: The Untold Story tells the other side of Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot. In Beckett’s classic Godot never shows up but Ian and John show the real story – Godot desperately trying to reach his friends Vladimir and Estragon.

Paper Cloud
Paper Cloud is one of Seattle’s newest indie long form teams. We bring the heat with high powered characters set in fast and fun scenarios.

You Asked For It
This is a show about you. Your hopes, your dreams, your life. Ian, Mandy, Graham, Mike, Elicia, Doug, Luke, and Natasha want to know everything about you. Really.

Matt-enee
Matt-enee

Matt Hatfield and Renee Lynch or “Matt-enee”, as they so cleverly call themselves, delve into a series of relationship-driven scenes connected by themes. Some times things get “real” and most of the time things get pretty dark but always in a way you’ll find entertaining. See Matt-enee and witness Renee and Matt work through life’s problems the only way they know how: doing so while hiding behind silly voices and characters.

Comedy Court Improv
Fast-paced, family-friendly short-form improv with an emphasis on musical games.

ASSBUTTS - Image
ASSBUTTS

ASSBUTTS (Amazing Spectacular Super Bold Unscripted Terrific Theater Show). Seattle’s favorite improvisers from CSz Seattle, Unexpected Productions and Jet City Improv do whatever they want. Zero plans. Zero rules. All comedy! 9/15 show: Ben Lidgus, Kinzie Shaw, Jessica Dunston, Graham Downing, Doug Willott, Kesan Holt, Nathan Cox and Mandy Price. 9/22 show: Jeremy Brown, Natasha Ransom, Kate Jaeger, Adisa Williams, Chris Allen, Eli Zavatsky, Brandon Felker and Elicia Wickstead.

Plush Squad
Plush Squad is an improvised crime drama about a special division of the LAPD made up of stuffed animals and humans that investigate celebrity murders. The audience gives us the celebrity and the clues but it is up to our crack team of stuffed animals and humans to solve the case. Think Law and Order…combined with pop culture and ridiculous stuffed animals.

Mr. Snake
Mr. Snake

High energy improv, created from one suggestion and turned into hilarious scenes.

Secret Bagel
The Monster Hunters

The improv team of Secret Bagel is embarking on a new show: The Monster Hunters. Three intrepid cryptozoologists head out into the field where a monster has been spotted by the locals. Is it sasquatch? The chupacabra? – or something no one has ever heard of before? Join us for this audience suggestion-generated take off “Finding Bigfoot” and “The X-Files.”

The Next Generation Gap
The Next Generation Gap

The Next Generation Gap, 14-year-old Carter and his dad Denny take on everything from Snapchat to dating to music. The audience suggests a topic where a 21st century kid might have a different take from his 20th Century dad and they riff on their takes it for a couple of minutes, and then do a variety of scenes based off the topic. When it comes to a teenager and his dad agreeing about anything–whether it’s smartphones, dating, music, or curfews–as you’d imagine there’s never any shortage of material.

Gloom
The Gloomwhisper Entrancement

The Gloomwhisper Entrancement is a comedic, improvised Q&A session with noted spiritualists Neville and Millicent Gloomwhisper.

Carskee
Carskee

Carskee is a two person show that takes a suggestion and explores it through character and emotion.

Bobby
Bobby is funny. Bobby is dramatic. Bobby can get stupid. Bobby can be serious. Meet Bobby; you’ll love him.

HELL YEAH
HELL YEAH is a celebration of absurdity.

Shortform! (A Longform show)
Ever wonder what happens once the improvisers leave the stage? Shortform! is a show that explores the lives of made up improvisers before, after, and even in between games of an improv show. (That’s right – it’s an improv show about improvisers improvising a show.) Are you ready for some improvception?
