✈ JET CITY IMPROV ENSEMBLEJohn has a BA in Marketing and Internet Development from Western Washington University. He has been a part of Jet City Improv since 2001. John has directed two Jet City Improv shows including The Roast (2010) and Worst Trip Ever IN ALL CAPS!1!! (2015 & 2016) which reviewers called "Smooth and Hilarious." He also co-created the critically acclaimed Election Show with Douglas Willott which has had four successful runs in Seattle and has been selected to comedy festivals all over North America including Chicago, Miami, Toronto, San Francisco, the Twin Cities, Bumbershoot and the Seattle Festival of Improv Theater. He has also appeared in other Jet City Improv shows such as Quiz Show, Dirty Laundry, Late Night with Satan and Twisted Flicks. John is an accomplished comedy writer and director whose work has been recommended by The Stranger and the Seattle Weekly as well as featured across the Internet. In 2006 had the opportunity to work with legendary comedy director John Landis (Animal House / Blue Brothers) in JibJab.com’s Great Sketch Experiment. When not performing improv John can be seen rooting for his Minnesota Twins and Vikings, going to CrossFit, losing at cribbage to his wife or enjoying a cold Guinness. He would like to thank his wonderful wife Kaci, his parents, his orange cat Biscuit and everyone at JCI! (And yes, he likes the Mariners and Seahawks too!)
