Julia Trimarco – Costume Design
Julia has designed costumes locally for The Drowsy Chaperone (Shoreline Community College), The Winter's Tale & Two Gentlemen of Verona (Greenstage Backyard Bard), The New Improvised Musical, Nancy You, Tall Tales, Wise Guys (Jet City Improv), Majesty (Versatile Arts), A Christmas Carol Radio Play (Eastside Music Theater), Lend Me a Tenor (ArtsWest), Greater Tuna (Renton Civic Theatre), and Even Steven Goes to War (Seattle Public Theater). As a member of IATSE Theatrical Wardrobe Union Local 887, Julia has joined crews at Seattle Opera, Seattle Rep, the Paramount, ACT, and the 5th Ave. Other collaborations include Seattle Shakespeare Company, Cornish, Spectrum Dance Theatre, Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society, Taproot, the Intiman, and Washington Ensemble Theatre. Julia has costumed in 8 states including New York, where she earned an Off-Off Broadway Review Award in 2001 for Moonchildren at the Producer's Club II. She currently spends her days in the Seattle Opera costume shop working on Carmen, and is looking forward to working on Greenstage's Taming of the Shrew this summer.
