​Classes Start the Week of Sept 20th
​

Improv 102 builds on the foundations of Improv 101 and introduces the skills that make scenes feel connected, specific, and fun to play. You’ll learn how to support your scene partner, build on offers, create memorable characters and relationships, and make choices that give a scene somewhere to go.

You’ll also work on quieting the voice in your head asking, “What should I do next?” By practicing scene structure, emotional connection, and stronger character choices, you’ll develop the confidence to stay present, trust your instincts, and discover the scene together.

In this class, you will:
  • Apply skills from Improv 101 to scenework and games
  • Create specific, multidimensional characters
  • Build stronger relationships with your scene partners
  • Use emotion to deepen scenes and raise the stakes
  • Learn how basic scene structure gives you more freedom to play
  • Strengthen ensemble connection and support

Who: Adults 18 and older

Prerequisite: Completion of Improv 101 at Jet City Improv or equivalent beginner-level improv experience elsewhere

Price: $380 for 7 weeks
​Included with your class: Free admission to most Jet City Improv shows during your class session, subject to availability.

Refund Policy
  • Tuition is refundable if the student contacts Jet City Improv more than two weeks before the first class. A $50 administrative fee will be deducted from the refund.
  • Refund requests received within two weeks of the first class are not eligible for a refund. At Jet City Improv’s discretion, tuition may instead be held as a credit toward a future class.
  • If Jet City Improv cancels a class due to low enrollment, registered students will receive a full refund.
  • Please contact the Education Department at [email protected] regarding questions about payment, refunds, or class credit.
Additional Notes
  • ​All students must attend the first day of classes.
  • You must attend 6 out of the 7 classes to move onto the next course.
  • We do not offer make-up sessions for classes you do not attend.
