Prerequisites: Students should have completed at least Improv 102 and 103,  and the 201 classes or have equivalent experience. No previous musical experience required.

All students must be fully vaccinated to attend.​

Showcase: April 6th 3:30pm-5pm

*Price: $475 for 8 weeks 

*This is a 2.5-hour class that needs two teachers to facilitate and ends in a showcase with a musician. This makes this class cost more than other classes.

Improv 204 is an advanced course combining improv with musical theatre, focusing on creating spontaneous songs and stories. Students learn to blend melody, rhythm, and lyrics on-the-fly, enhancing scenes with musical elements. Emphasizing character development and games, it's ideal for those eager to explore musical improv, regardless of musical background. No previous musical experience required!!

The first few weeks will be focused on music theory, vocal training, and getting everyone comfortable and feelin' good. The remaining weeks will be focused on applying song to scene by way of short form games that you will perform at your fabulous show!

Refund Policy
  • Tuition can only be fully refunded if student contacts Jet City Improv two or more weeks prior to the date of the first class.
  • Refund or deferment requests received after that time are not eligible for a refund or deferment, with the exception of deferments due to COVID-policy shifts as noted below.
  • Please contact the Education Director at education@jetcityimprov.org regarding questions about payment, refunds, and deferment.
  • Please note: If we do not hit a minimum number of students enrolled by one week before the session, we may delay the beginning of this class by one (1) week or shorten the class by 30 minutes.
    If the class time is shortened, registered students will be partially refunded to reflect a pro-rated tuition. 

Additional Notes
  • ​Students must attend 6 out of 7 sessions to move on to the next section. Absences due to illness/COVID-19 symptoms will not be counted against students.
  • ​We do not offer make up sessions for classes you do not attend.
  • All classes are subject to a change in day/time/venue/instructor.
