Questions about our classes?

Feel free to email us at [email protected] for more information.
Improv 204 blends improv comedy with musical elements, inviting you to create spontaneous songs, explore musical games, and discover how melody and rhythm can enhance storytelling onstage. With a live musician supporting you in class each week, you'll build confidence and vocal play in a fun, low-pressure environment. No musical experience required.

Whether you're musically trained or just love to sing in the car, this class will help you connect character, emotion, and song through short-form games and ensemble work. The first few weeks focus on musical foundations and vocal comfort. The rest of the course is all about bringing those skills into scenes and sharing your joy onstage.

In this class, you will:
  • Learn the basics of musical improv in a supportive setting
  • Create improvised songs using rhythm, melody, and emotion
  • Explore musical game formats and scenic song structures
  • Strengthen your connection between lyrics and character choices
  • Work with a live musician throughout the course
  • Receive coaching to build confidence and vocal freedom
  • Collaborate with your ensemble in musical games and scenes
  • Take part in a final student showcase
