Prerequisites: Students should have completed at least Improv 101, 102 and 103, and the 201, 202, and 204 classes or have equivalent experience.
When: TBD *Price: $550 for 8 weeks *This is a 3-hour class that needs two teachers to facilitate and ends in a full show in a large theatre with a musician. Improv 304 is an advanced musical theatre improv course for students ready to create and perform a fully improvised, full-length musical. With your instructor acting as a director, you and your ensemble will build original songs, characters, and story arcs to bring an entirely new musical to life.
You will rehearse the structure, rhythm, and emotional storytelling that make musicals memorable, all while working closely with a live musician and your ensemble. This class combines everything you have learned from narrative and musical improv and ends with a fully realized featured performance for a public audience. In this class, you will:
