Questions about our classes?

Feel free to email us at [email protected] for more information.
Improv 304 is an advanced musical theatre improv course for students ready to create and perform a fully improvised, full-length musical. With your instructor acting as a director, you and your ensemble will build original songs, characters, and story arcs to bring an entirely new musical to life.

You will rehearse the structure, rhythm, and emotional storytelling that make musicals memorable, all while working closely with a live musician and your ensemble. This class combines everything you have learned from narrative and musical improv and ends with a fully realized featured performance for a public audience.

In this class, you will:
  • Create and rehearse a fully improvised musical as an ensemble
  • Work with a director to shape story, character, and musical structure
  • Blend melody, rhythm, and lyrics to create original songs on the spot
  • Use emotion and storytelling to drive character-driven musical scenes
  • Collaborate with a live musician throughout the course
  • Perform a fully improvised musical in a featured public show
