Improv 101

Thinking about taking Improv? Looking to improve your acting or theater skills? Join JCI's Improv 101 six week virtual course available to all skill levels.

Spring session began April 6th – Check back in May for Summer!
Prerequisites: Must be at least 18 years of age. That’s it!

When: Tuesdays, April 6 – May 11 (6 weeks, 6:00-8:00PM PT)

Where: This class will be occurring entirely virtually via a private Zoom link.

Instructor: Sky Boggs

Price:  $205 for 6 weeks

Discover the basic vocabulary and techniques behind the art of improv through scenes, games and exercises in a fun, supportive environment. We cap this class at 18 students.

In this class, you will:
  • Show up by yourself or with friends.
  • Play fun warm-up games.
  • Learn the basic building blocks of improv
  • Get individualized coaching and notes.
  • Leave with more friends.

Refund Policy
  • Tuition can only be fully refunded if student contacts Jet City Improv two or more weeks prior to the date of the first class.
  • Refund or deferment requests received after that time are not eligible for a refund or deferment.
  • Please contact the Education Director at education@jetcityimprov.com or at 206.352.8291 regarding questions about payment, refunds, and deferment.
  • Please note: If we do not hit a minimum number of students enrolled by 3/29/2021, we may delay the beginning of this class by one (1) week or shorten the class by 30 minutes.
    If the class time is shortened, registered students will be partially refunded to reflect a pro-rated tuition. 

Additional Notes
  • Current and prospective students can find our classroom policies here!
  • All students must attend the first day of classes.
  • You must attend 5 out of the 6 classes to move onto the next course.
  • We do not offer make up sessions for classes you do not attend.
  • All classes are subject to a change in day/time/venue/instructor.
