Based on audience suggestions and soap opera tropes, they will improvise a world where no personality is too big and no problem is too outlandish. They will weave together the hilarious, melodramatic lives of familiar soaps, leaving you entertained, delighted, and gasping for more.

Bainbridge Island, WA | Bainbridge Improv Collective
"The Everything Bagel" takes inspiration from the film, "Everything Everywhere all at Once". Players will perform a single narrative story, based on audience suggestion, while being pelted by short form improv games and restrictions by that show's "Bagel Meister".

Morris and Morris: Attorneys at Law, consisting of the parties Raynee Morris and Tristan Morris, is a Seattle-based duo established in 2022. Raynee and Tristan are not related, nor are they actually lawyers, but that does not stop them from taking on the audience’s toughest legal defense cases and litigating them live.

An improvised singing competition comedy! Singers gather to participate in a global music competition put on by the European Broadcasting Union to see who will be the next champion of the Vision Euro Söng Cöntest! Relationships will be tested, stakes raised, and schemes unfurled as our contestants chase their dreams of pop stardom. The audience provides the suggestions that inspire the songs and show.

HERE: An Improvised Musical
Chicago, IL / Columbus, OH | iO Chicago / The Nest Theatre
HERE: The (Improvised) Musical is the original two-person improvised musical from Tara DeFrancisco and Rance Rizzutto. One of Chicago’s most lauded improv shows, HERE has been recommended by the Chicago Tribune, called “Not to Be Missed” by the Chicago Sun-Times, and deemed “Nothing Short of Genius” by NPR. The show has headlined in 24 countries and 95 cities worldwide, with notable residencies at iO Chicago and The Nest Theatre in Columbus, Ohio.

In HERE, Tara and Rance take one suggestion, discover a theme through an opening number, create characters and storylines inspired by that theme, and weave everything together into one funny, beautiful, and charming musical made up in the moment.

Our talented improvisers will use your suggestions to create an unforgettable show that will have you laughing out loud. Norman Lear was a legendary producer and writer of popular 1970s sitcoms such as All in the Family, Maude, The Jeffersons, and Good Times. His shows were known for introducing political and social themes to the sitcom format. As our audience, you have the important role of providing the laugh track and suggestions to make this show a success. So let’s work together to create a hilarious American Sitcom that will be talked about for years to come!

Each performance is a never-before-seen parody episode improvised on the spot. What mission will this plucky crew take on as they head into strange new worlds? How will this universally diverse crew solve the problems of the cosmos? Oh, and did we mention it is a musical?

​Regionals: The Musical

Seattle, WA
Regionals: The Musical is a duo of veteran musical improvisers Jenn Petti and Camilla Franklin, joined by music director Alex Engelberg. The three began improvising together in 2019 and have been friends and co-performers ever since. According to legend, the Regionals format was conceived while inner-tubing on a lake, though the specific lake is still disputed, when Jenn asked about doing some kind of duo show together and Camilla immediately had the fully baked pitch.

Real-life humiliation meets long-form improv in this hilarious collaboration between JCI and the producers of Salon of Shame. Brave guest readers share cringeworthy artifacts from their past, from old diaries to bad poetry, which inspire improvised scenes that transform shame into characters, connections, and comedy.
The stories are real. The improv is made up. The embarrassment is universal.

​High Noon

Spokane, WA | The Blue Door Theater
High Noon is a tense western with three performers, no script, and some balloons. Together with the audience, High Noon builds a western in real time, where every balloon popped is a gunshot, and those balloons are in the audience.

Equal parts whimsical, silly, and poignant, this musical follows one person and their puppet-personified inner voices as a situation in their everyday life suddenly thrusts them on a journey of self-love.

Grab your potions and prepare your spells. DnDprov sends a cast of fearless improv adventurers on a brand-new fantasy quest shaped by giant dice, magical mishaps, ridiculous characters, mythical creatures, and unexpected twists. Will the party survive the dungeon, befriend the dragon, or make everything much, much worse? That depends on the roll of the dice.

Touch Baseball is a St. Louis-based two-person long-form improv team featuring Ryan Myers and Ashley Rube. They perform a monoscene focused on patient, relationship-driven scenework, making every little detail matter. With an emphasis on emotional honesty and specificity, the scene deepens with each new discovery. The result is grounded improv that is simultaneously absurd, arresting, and human.

Los Angeles, CA | Festival Headliner
David Razowsky is one of improv’s most respected performers, teachers, directors, and artistic leaders. A former Artistic Director of The Second City Los Angeles, David has performed with and directed some of the most recognizable names in comedy, including Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, Rachel Dratch, Amy Sedaris, and Chris Farley.

The author of A Subversive’s Guide to Improvisation: Moving Beyond “Yes, And”, David is known for an approach to improv rooted in presence, emotional truth, and the discovery of what is happening right now. His work has influenced improvisers around the world, and his festival headliner performance brings that unmistakable sense of focus, surprise, and connection to the Jet City Improv Festival stage.
