As a tender 4th grader, Nick improvised his first scene in which he held a mimed turtle which pooped on his hands. Not much has changed for Nick. Nick began more formal improv training in college and was a member of the Dead Parrots Society (2002-2006), serving as Artistic Director 2005-2006. With various groups/shows Nick has performed at the Chicago Improv Festival, Seattle Festival of Improv Theater, Improvaganza: Hawaii Festival of Improv, and the Vancouver International Fringe Festival. Nick is an actor and writer in the Seattle theatre community at large and has performed with 14/48: The World's Quickest Theatre Festival, Annex Theatre, ArtsWest Playhouse, Balagan Theatre, The Beta Society, Book-It Repertory Theatre, GreenStage, Ghostlight Theatricals, iDiOM Theater, Montana Shakespeare in the Parks, Mount Baker Theatre (Bellingham), Northwest Playwrights Alliance, Redmoon Theater (Chicago), Rough Play Productions, Seattle Opera, Second Story Repertory, Theater Schmeater, Unexpected Productions and The Upfront Theatre, among others. Nick graduated from Western Washington University in 2006 with a BA in Theatre Arts and Minors in Film Studies and Latin. Yes, they still teach Latin.
