About the show
The Rest of Us" is a fully improvised 90 minute play. This dramatic long form narrative follows a group of survivors as they navigate the challenges of a world overrun by disaster, destruction and monsters. This show delves into the complexity of human relationships, survival and the will to continue against insurmountable odds. While the human experience has moments of levity, this show is considered a drama and may have elements that will be inappropriate for anyone under the age of 18. Viewer discretion is advised.

- This audition is going to be focused on grounded character work, specifically relationship building between scene partners.
- Please bring something to move in, water, and, most importantly, a sense of fun!
- Our ensemble welcomes POC, womxn, NB folx, LGBTQ+/MOGAI, and any members of underrepresented groups. We are committed to equitable representation on our stage. Performers living with disabilities are encouraged to audition; for inquiries regarding accessibility, please email [email protected]

- Tech Rehearsals:
- Friday, November 8th: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Load-In, Actors TBD)
- Saturday, November 9th: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM (Designer Day)
Actors: TBD - Sunday, November 10th: 12:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Load-In and Actors Called)
- Monday, November 11th: 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM
- Tuesday, November 12th: 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM
- Wednesday, November 13th: 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM (Dress Rehearsal)
- Performance Dates: November 14th - November 30th
Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays* Thursday, November 28th will not have a show due to Thanksgiving.
- Performances will be at West of Lenin.

- Physical and Romantic Intimacy: This production may include scenes of physical and romantic intimacy (e.g., kissing, hugging, holding hands as well as the potential for staged physical fighting).
- Themes of Horror: The production will feature themes of the apocalypse, death and disease.
- Stunt Coordination: Stunt coordinators will be present on the October 13th Rehearsal to work with the cast on specific actions that may be used during the show. No previous stunt work required.
