Improv 201 is all about leveling up your performance skills. This course is designed for improvisers who are ready to deepen their craft by exploring essential acting techniques and stage awareness. You’ll discuss key acting terms and theories that every improviser should know, then bring those ideas to life through focused scenework and real-time instructor feedback.
Core concepts include emotional connection, honest and subtle character work, and building strong stage presence and stage pictures. You’ll also get hands-on practice with advanced short-form games and be introduced to foundational long-form techniques. The class ends with a student showcase that highlights your growth and performance readiness. In this class, you will:
