Questions about our classes?

Feel free to email us at education@jetcityimprov.com for more information.
In Improv 102, you’ll be trained on how to do good – nay, great scenework no matter what kind of show you’re playing in. Using the techniques learned in your introductory class, you’ll engage in games and exercises designed to heighten your support of your scene partners, the ability to accept and expand on every offer, and create memorable scenes in any format. You’ll cultivate the confidence and skills needed in order to silence that voice in your head that asks “what should I do next?” in the middle of a scene. You’ll be ready for anything!

A COVID-19 STATEMENT FROM KATE

Spring Quarter is now scheduled to begin May 11th, a four-week delay from our original schedule. The entire Spring Quarter will occur virtually via Zoom.
Students will have until two-weeks prior to the new class start date to receive a refund on their tuition.
Current registered students for whom these new dates do not work, or for whom virtual classes would be impossible, can email our Education Director Kate at kate@jetcityimprov.org to either defer your tuition to a future date, convert it to JCI credit, or receive a refund (prior to April 27th).
Please note that we are a small organization that runs on a tight margin, and we are struggling to stay afloat right now. If you ever intend to take classes, registering now (or buying a gift certificate for a future class) is a wonderful way to help us weather this storm – and you get an amazing experience out of it too!

Refund Policy
  • Tuition can only be fully refunded if student contacts Jet City Improv two or more weeks prior to the date of the first class.
  • Refund or deferment requests received after that time are not eligible for a refund or deferment.
  • Please contact the Education Director at education@jetcityimprov.com or at 206.352.8291 regarding questions about payment, refunds, and deferment.
Additional Notes
  • Current and prospective students can find our classroom policies here!
  • All students must attend the first day of classes.
  • You must attend 6 out of the 8 classes to move onto the next course.
  • We do not offer make up sessions for classes you do not attend.
  • All classes are subject to a change in day/time/venue/instructor.
