Improv 102: Creating the Connection

In Improv 102, you’ll learn how to create strong, engaging scenework that works in any improv format. Building on the tools from your intro class, you’ll dive into games and exercises that help you support your scene partners more fully, accept and build on every offer, and bring memorable characters and relationships to life.

You’ll also start to quiet that voice in your head asking, “What should I do next?” by developing the confidence and structure to trust your instincts. The result: scenes that feel natural, connected, and genuinely fun to play.

In this class, you will:
  • Apply skills from your intro class to both scenework and games
  • Create multi-dimensional characters using specific tools and choices
  • Use emotion to elevate relationships and performance
  • Understand how scene structure gives you more room to play
  • Build deeper connections with your classmates and make new friends
  • Enjoy free admission to Jet City Improv shows during your class session
