Questions about our classes?

Feel free to email us at [email protected] for more information.
This advanced course is your chance to take everything you’ve learned about storytelling and apply it to the creation of a fully improvised play. In this performance-focused class, you’ll rehearse and shape a long-form narrative show under the guidance of your instructor, who will take on the role of director.

You’ll dig into character arcs, ensemble storytelling, and narrative structure while building a fully realized world onstage. This course is designed to mirror the experience of being cast in one of Jet City Improv’s Mainstage Presents shows. It’s a deep dive into the craft and complexity of long-form narrative improv, culminating in a featured performance.

In this class, you will:
  • Collaborate to create and rehearse a fully improvised play
  • Receive director-style guidance to shape a complete show
  • Explore advanced storytelling techniques and character arcs
  • Build ensemble trust and shared narrative language
  • Rehearse with a focus on tone, structure, and thematic clarity
  • Perform a fully improvised featured show for a public audience
