This page lists auditions to join the main ensemble of Jet City Improv, as well as auditions for our long-form improvised plays that take place throughout the year.
All auditions and productions listed on this page are for performers ages 18+.
Completion of Jet City Improv’s full Improv 200-level series is required to audition for the main ensemble. Requirements for long-form improvised plays may vary by production.

upcoming auditions
Auditions are now open for Emerald City Slasher 2026, Jet City Improv’s improvised murder mystery where the cast and audience discover the identity of the Slasher together in the final moments of the show.
Auditions: Saturday, July 25, 2026 at West of Lenin
Callbacks: Sunday, July 26, 2026, 12:00–2:00 PM at West of Lenin
Casting decisions sent: Wednesday, July 29, 2026
Rehearsals begin Sunday, August 2 and are scheduled for:
Tech week: Sunday, September 27 through Wednesday, September 30
Performances: Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, October 1–31, 2026
Stipend: $240 per performer for the entire run (Expectation to be at 8 of 15 performances)
Strike: Sunday, November 1, 11:00 AM–3:00 PM
Please note: this production includes themes of blood, horror, staged violence, death, physical intimacy, and romantic intimacy. An intimacy coordinator and stage combat coordinator will be part of the process to support safe, consent-based work.
Auditions, callbacks, and rehearsals will take place in the Front Studio at West of Lenin, which is accessed by stairs. West of Lenin does not have an elevator.
