At Jet City Improv, our dedicated volunteer Board members play a crucial role in overseeing our nonprofit organization. They assist with governance, finance, human resource management, fundraising, and collaborate closely with our Executive Artistic Director. Their passion for improv and our IMPROV4 GOOD outreach efforts drives our mission forward, creating transformative experiences and fostering a vibrant arts community. Together, we illuminate the path to a brighter future for improv.

Pam Forquera (she/her) - President
[email protected]
Pam joined the Jet City board in May, 2022, and is excited for the opportunity to give back to an organization that has given her so much. She especially values the enduring friendships, broadened perspectives, and personal growth developed through improv. A Seattle native and proud UW Husky, Pam earned a Master’s Degree at San Diego State University. Her career as a nationally certified speech-language pathologist (SLP) spanned more than thirty years working with children and young adults in public schools and private practice. Pam began classes at Jet City in 2017 and immediately recognized the applicability of improv fundamentals to her profession. She incorporated warmups and games into social communication activities with her neurodiverse clients and trained fellow SLPs in the techniques. Now retired, Pam considers improv classes and performances to be an important component in her efforts at healthy aging. She loves to snorkel, is attempting to learn to tap dance, and is an enthusiastic world traveler. |
Dana Panteleeff (she/her) - Treasurer
[email protected] Dana joined the board in 2023. She brings a range of experiences across finance, administration, operations, human resources, research, education, strategic planning, IT, and general process improvement. She took her first improv class in 2019 and immediately started appreciating how the “rules of improv” apply to so many other areas of professional and home life. She has two adult children and lives in Shoreline with her husband of 25+ years, their dog Finn, and a small flock of chickens. |

"Jet City Improv is a community of creative and talented individuals who together form a community of artistic expression. Serving on the Board has been a rewarding experience, especially to see the growth and development of an organization that means so much to so many people. It was an honor to serve with my real estate and business expertise."

-Bryan Mize (former Board President)
“Improv performers do not just embrace “yes, and” on the stage. They are fearless in strategic planning processes and giving of their time, talent, and treasure to keep the doors open to their beloved improv home. While I like to believe that I was helpful to the organization, the improvisers gave me their can-do spirit, a gift that I use every day at work and daily life.”
-Carla Villar (former Board President) |
“Jet City Improv is truly a wonderful organization with strong values and a really fun creative culture. I can assure anyone considering a board position that your thoughts and ideas will be valued and your experience is needed to help the business prosper. I can also tell everyone that the theater world is a little addictive and you may just get hooked – I know I did!”
-Tim Seaton |
“Comedy is such a critically important form of artistic expression, and to whatever extent that JCI helps fill that need in Seattle, I take pride in knowing that I played my own small part in helping make that happen.”
- Matt Grabowski (former Board President) |
