AUDITION FORM

About the show:

Inside Voices is an improvised musical about learning how to love ourselves. The show is created and directed by Kat Schelonka, with musical director Jack Patten and stage manager Devon Sheehan.

Inside Voices explores the relationship between ourselves and the inner parts that make us whole. We follow a character and their personified inner voices as a situation in their everyday life suddenly thrusts them on the weird and messy journey towards self-love.

This production intends to create an improvisational piece that feels like a scripted musical performance. We are looking to cast 8-10 performers who improvise with sincerity, playfulness, and honesty, and have strong skills in narrative storytelling and improvised song. Spontaneous harmony is a strong plus.

JCI is committed to diversity and strives to embody a positive model of inclusion. As such, we encourage performers of all ages, ethnicities, and gender identities, as well as performers with disabilities, to attend our auditions.
