Our mainstage productions are fully improvised plays. Original, unscripted theatrical shows that combine rich characters, genre storytelling, and live audience input. Each production features directed casts, lighting and sound design, costumes, and zero script.

Our house ensemble delivers a rotating mix of fast, funny, and fully improvised comedy shows, all created live based on audience suggestions. Every performance features a blend of instantly created scenes, clever games, and longform storytelling, shaped in the moment by our talented team of improvisers.

Current ensemble shows include:
  • Improv Game Night: Our signature house show packed with high-energy short-form games
  • DNDprov: An improvised fantasy quest full of chaotic characters and wild twists
  • Spilling Tea: Improv inspired by audience gossip, secrets, and scandal
  • Make Us Laugh: A comedy competition where improvisers face off in games and scenes, and the audience decides who stays in the spotlight
  • Special Events: Limited-run formats, surprise shows, and seasonal specials you will not want to miss

​We hold ensemble auditions about once a year, bringing in new voices to join one of Seattle’s longest-running and most beloved improv teams. The ensemble rehearses weekly and performs throughout the year.​

Jet City Improv is proud to support a vibrant and diverse community of performers through recurring series that spotlight new voices, experimental formats, and independent talent.

  • Queerly Beloved –  A monthly celebration of LGBTQIA+ voices, performed by an all-queer cast. Uplifting, hilarious, and heartfelt, this show welcomes everyone to laugh, connect, and feel the love.
  • IndieProv – A showcase of Seattle’s best and boldest indie improv teams. Each show features four rotating guest groups bringing unique styles and unexpected surprises to the stage. Always fresh, always funny.
  • Test Flights – Our in-house incubator for new work. Test Flights gives performers the chance to try bold ideas, workshop new formats, and explore creative risks — all in front of a live audience. It’s where Jet City’s next big show might take off.​

Do you offer group ticket discounts?

Yes. We offer a 25% group discount for purchases of 10 or more tickets to the same performance. Use the code GROUP at checkout. The discount will automatically apply once your cart reaches the 10-ticket minimum. Group discounts are subject to availability and cannot be combined with other offers.

We will do our best to reserve seats together for group purchases, but seating together is not guaranteed. To help ensure your group sits together, please plan to arrive early. Any held group seating may be released to general admission about 5 minutes before showtime.

Please note that late seating is not permitted, so all group members should arrive on time and enter together whenever possible.
