Improv 301 is an advanced course combining improv with musical theatre, focusing on creating spontaneous songs and stories. Students learn to blend melody, rhythm, and lyrics on-the-fly, enhancing scenes with musical elements. Emphasizing character development and narrative, it's ideal for those eager to explore musical improv, regardless of musical background. No previous musical experience required!!
The first few weeks will be focused on music theory, vocal training, and getting everyone comfortable and feelin' good. The remaining weeks will be focused on applying song to scene by way of short form games that you will perform at your fabulous show! Instructor: TBD |
