Prerequisites: Students should have completed Intro to Long Form: Narrative, or have equivalent experience.

This class is appropriate for more advanced improvisers seeking to deepen their narrative long form skills! All students must be fully vaccinated to attend.

Deepen your knowledge of how Jet City Improv creates its signature improvised plays! This Advanced Long Form: Narrative class will make you performance-ready for story-based long form, with specific focuses on the genre and dramaturgy foundations of the format, and on how to craft, rehearse, and perform a show.

Refund Policy
  • Tuition can only be fully refunded if the student contacts Jet City Improv two or more weeks prior to the date of the first class.
  • Refund or deferment requests received after that time are not eligible for a refund or deferment.
  • Please contact the Education Department at [email protected] regarding questions about payment, refunds, and deferment.
  • Please note: If we do not hit a minimum number of students enrolled by one week before the class begins, we may delay the beginning of this class by one (1) week or shorten the class by 30 minutes.
  • If the class time is shortened, registered students will be partially refunded to reflect a pro-rated tuition.
COVID-19 Policies:
  • The instructor for this course will be vaccinated, and all students must be fully vaccinated to attend.
  • We will continue to abide by the latest recommendation of King County. Students should assume that the class will be masked – the class will take an anonymous vote to determine whether students may unmask for performance/scenework.
  • Students will be given prior notice to any shift in policy, and will be given the opportunity to defer their tuition at any time if they no longer wish to participate.
