Prerequisites: Students should have completed at least Improv 102 and 103, or have equivalent experience.

This class is appropriate for more advanced improvisers seeking to brush off their narrative long form skills!  All students must be fully vaccinated to attend.

Dive headfirst into learning how Jet City Improv creates its signature improvised plays! This Intro to Long Form: Narrative class will introduce you to story-based long form, building and applying skills in sustaining story and character, weaving a well-constructed narrative, and structural tools like the Hero's Journey.

Refund Policy
  • Tuition can only be fully refunded if the student contacts Jet City Improv two or more weeks prior to the date of the first class.
  • Refund or deferment requests received after that time are not eligible for a refund or deferment.
  • Please contact the Education Department at [email protected] regarding questions about payment, refunds, and deferment.
  • Please note: If we do not hit a minimum number of students enrolled by one week before the class begins, we may delay the beginning of this class by one (1) week or shorten the class by 30 minutes.
  • If the class time is shortened, registered students will be partially refunded to reflect a pro-rated tuition.
COVID-19 Policies:
  • The instructor for this course will be vaccinated, and all students are encouraged to be fully vaccinated as well.
  • ​We will continue to abide by the latest recommendation of King County. Masking will be optional. 
  • Students will be given prior notice to any shift in policy, and will be given the opportunity to defer their tuition at any time if they no longer wish to participate. ​
